Textile Industry is one of the important strategic industries in Egypt.
It has been always supported by three important ministries: Ministry of Public Business Sectors, Ministry of Agriculture & Land Reclamation and Ministry of Trade & Industry. Notable, this year for the first time the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research is financially supporting the research in Industry, which is  The Textile Industry. 
The chairman of Textile Engineering Dept. was quoted” The Forum of Textile Industry is a dream comes true. It is a dream that I had; since I have been appointed, to gather all textile industry in one association”
